The Valley Foundation Incorporated (TVF) is a  501 (c) 3  tax-
exempt organization which focuses it efforts on the people of
the
Shenandoah Valley.

The Valley Foundation  is a reincorporation of an entity
established in 1996 and dissolved in 1999.  It includes some of
the officers and directors of the original TVF.  It was involved in
charitable fundraising efforts over a 3 year period mainly for
the construction of The Phillip M. Grabill, Jr. Memorial
Helicopter Landing Site at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in
Woodstock, Virginia.  Entertainment events included Bill Deal
and Ammon Tharp (the original Rhondels) and Spectrum.
Another fundraiser, produced by some of the same group
members for the playground at the Riley Park in Woodstock,
was “The Waller Family”.

The Valley Foundation had its first fundraising activity, Fall
Festival in the Valley
, on September 30, 2006.  There
were two bands, great food and beverages.  It was held on a
private farm (Spring Oak Farm) in Woodstock, Virginia.  Future
activities include agricultural education for youth and providing
household necessities for locals in need. We expect attendees
from all surrounding counties as well as numerous out of town
guests.  All activities will take place in and benefit those in
Shenandoah, Frederick and Warren Counties.
Directors and officers of
The Valley Foundation are
volunteers and there will be no
compensation for their efforts.
